2012-2013 Ennis Soccer Association (ESA)
Youth Female Referee of the Year –
Caroline Ward
Caroline Ward, 16, has been a dedicated
player in the ESA since the age of four. Her
passion and knowledge of the game led her
to join the ranks as a Grade 9 Referee at age
12, then advanced as a Grade 8 Referee at
age 14. She enjoys the challenge of
officiating all age groups, but is most fond of
offering patient instruction to the young
kickers who are brand new to the game.
Outside of soccer, Miss Ward excels in
academics as a member of the National
Honor Society, FIRST Robotics, and is on
track to graduate high school with an
Associate of Science in Engineering degree.
She plans to further her education by
obtaining a degree in Aerospace Engineering.
Other interests include volunteering in her
community, art, beekeeping, sailing, hunting,
and spending time with family and friends.
